Yesterday night a friend and I went to see Grizzly Bear preform at the Orpheum Theater here in Boston. I decided to take some photos both for this blog and my friends blog (www.hippomusic.blogspot.com & @hippomusic on twitter) however I did not realize they didn't allow "professional" cameras into the venue (because apparently you can't take a good photo without a pro camera). So, after taking my camera apart and sneaking it inside I let loose. These were taken at 3200 iso on my Nikon D90 and while yes, there is noise, it's not as terrible as I had imagined. The show was awesome btw, if you get a chance, go see them.

Good job! I think you had a great vantage point. I had that problem about taking in a camera. I think the bands often have a deal with certain photographers. That's what happened when my son's band played before a more famous group. I got away with it that time because my son came out and explained I was their photographer!
