The ski season has finally started, a few slopes have been opened at Verbier, with nearly 1 meter snow. With Nuno and Tiago representing the Portuguese snowboard team, we could not wait to kick off the season.
Weather conditions were not perfect, the sky remained quite cloudy all day, but at least we did not have to worry about getting sunburned. On the other hand the snow was great, and we had great fun trying to get the respective muscles back in shape.
We stopped for lunch and beer, and met some more colleagues. After a few more rounds of skiing we decided that we worked enough and deserved some regeneration, so we drove to the thermal bath of the nearby
Lavey-les-Bains. It was an excellent choice, swimming in the steaming outdoor pools surrounded by snowy mountains is a great way to relax the tired muscles.
