My friend Jill left theatre Center Stage to open her own couturier atelier, or schmancy custom gown studio. ;-). Her opening reception happened this evening.

Her studio is in a great old building- an old police station conveniently located in the same block as her house. Cool woodwork and high ceilings. She found this fab ship chandelier.

Yep, that's real farmed fur there... not for me, but some people (schmancy rich folks) are gonna go for these like Swarovksi encrusted hotcakes, I'd wager.

I love the chandelier. Have been checking out the milkshake site for the chap - think I'll try to hunt down the CD - anything that isn't the WIggles and is something I can stand on non stop repeat is good. :)
