Lovely shots that express the recovery very well... Glad you managed to retrieve your work...maybe you could let Monika (longimanus) know about this. I also heard that it is better to save your work to memory stick rather than disc, because the discs wear thin and the information can be lost over a period of time...I suppose it depends how often you use the disc...it's like an old DVD that wont play properly any more.
